Now is the Time to be Seen and to have your Voice Heard!

The Repeal Amendment will be heard in sub-committee Tuesday morning at 9:15 in Room 3 West in the General Assembly Office Building.

This sub-committee hearing will be the biggest hurdle for Your Freedom Bills. We need as many activists to attend this meeting as possible.

There will be an opportunity for citizens to testify during the sub-committee meeting.

Cuccinelli – Individual Mandate:Unconstitutional

Dear Defender of Liberty,

Today, a federal judge in Richmond ruled the individual mandate of the federal health care law UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

In other words – we won!

This won’t be the final round, as this will ultimately be decided by the Supreme Court, but today is a critical milestone in the protection of the Constitution.

I am still fully digesting the court’s ruling, so I’ll get back to you again later with more details, but I wanted you to hear the good news right away.

Thank so many of you for your support to become the Attorney General of Virginia, and your support since then. Today is a day to celebrate those same first principles that our founding fathers articulated over 200 years ago.

We are proud to defend their work and the same first principles today in the 21st century.

In this email, you will find detailed Lobby Day information regarding:

1) Parking (Bus Drop-off & Parking; Park-n-Ride; Free parking)

2) The Day’s Main Events – Lobbying your Legislators; Virginia 10^th Amendment Revolution Rally; Patriot Tailgate Party

3) Patriot’s Hospitality Room (The “Crash Pad”)

4) Lunch & Relaxation – Two Restaurants on East Cary offer something special for Patriots!

5) Patriot’s Reception at The Tobacco Company Restaurant

PARKING

There is no parking available on Capitol grounds.

A) BUS Parking:

Three or four spaces are presently available on Bank Street between 10th and 12th Streets for motorcoaches to unload. Buses should not stay on Bank Street longer than 2 hours.

B) Park N’ Ride: Shuttle service will be provided from the Parker Field Annex (Map) to 9th Street at the Bell Tower from 8:00am – 2PM.

Leaving Parker Field Annex for Capitol at 8:00am, 8:25am, 8:50am, 9:15am, 9:40am.

Leaving Capitol for Parker Field Annex beginning 12:20pm, 12:45pm, 1:10pm, 1:35pm, 2:00pm.

$5 per car will be collected at the parking lot.

C) FREE Valet Parking (Attendant Tipping recommended) at The Tobacco Company Restaurant, 1201 East Cary Street; Starting at 9:00 a.m. until Reception ends. Complimentary Limo Service between the Bell Tower (Capitol Grounds) & TC Restaurant (Driver Tipping recommended)

D) Parking Meters are FREE in the city on state holidays.
